Dinner Dates: A Table for Two in TopForm

Eating out alone in a great food city is a missed opportunity. Across the table, the right companion changes the whole match: she tastes the wine you pick, asks about your day as if it matters, and turns three courses into the best conversation of your trip.

The dinner date is companionship built around a reservation. She arrives at the restaurant door or collects you from your hotel lobby, sits down for the meal and, if you both like, the evening carries on afterwards. Sociable, elegant and entirely at your pace.

Top form for dinner dates

Chosen from the details on each player card: her style, her languages and the evenings she enjoys most. Tap a card for photos and the full scouting report.

Sec. 02

The shape of the evening

A dinner date has a natural running order. The restaurant and the reservation are your call; if you are new in town, describe the evening you want and a neighbourhood suggestion comes back. Your companion arrives on time, dressed for the room you described, and you begin with an aperitif. Courses come and go, and so does the conversation. After dessert there is often a short walk, a nightcap at a hotel bar or a return to your room.

Because a good dinner never hurries, most clients book for at least three hours. Rates start from €180 per hour, and dinner lengths are on request, agreed in the WhatsApp chat before the date.

Sec. 03

Where to reserve

Amsterdam has a dinner setting for every mood. Oud-Zuid is polished and calm, with elegant dining rooms near the Concertgebouw and wine bars on quiet corners. De Pijp brings small, lively kitchens and terraces that hum on summer evenings. For something more adventurous, the converted warehouses of Amsterdam Noord serve dinner with a view back across the IJ. Wherever you book, reserve in your own name for two, and let us know about any dress code.

Sec. 04

Who shines at the table

Every companion on the board is good company at a table, yet some names genuinely come alive over a menu. Bianka is warm and attentive, a vintage fashion lover who could talk about wine tasting all evening. Luna, bold and independent, shares that love of wine and adds a passion for theatre, which makes a pre-show dinner an easy win. Michelle is chatty and elegant, happy to discuss museums or choose the cocktail that opens the night, and Thea, cheerful and down to earth, is perfect for a relaxed table where nobody stands on ceremony. Michelle and Thea are also listed among companions aged 26 to 29.

Sec. 05

Pre-show, late table or long lunch

Dinner dates do not all kick off at eight. A pre-theatre table near Leidseplein gets you fed and seated before curtain up, with dessert saved for a bar afterwards. A late table after a concert suits night owls, since plenty of kitchens in the centre keep serving well into the evening. And a long weekend lunch, stretching into the afternoon on a sunny terrace, is a relaxed alternative for anyone whose evenings are already spoken for. Share the timing and we will match you with a companion who enjoys that particular tempo.

Sec. 06

Table manners, made easy

Treat the evening like dinner with a new acquaintance you would like to impress, not a job interview. Order what you enjoy and invite her to do the same. Keep your phone in a pocket rather than on the tablecloth. If you run into someone you know, she follows your lead on introductions, and discretion is automatic. As with any dinner guest, the table itself is your treat, while everything about the booking is agreed in the chat before you sit down.

Sec. 07

First dinner or regular fixture

On a first dinner date, less is more. Pick a single restaurant, fix a start time and choose a companion who shares at least one of your passions, whether that is wine, theatre or art. Common ground gets the conversation moving within minutes. Regulars often build more ambitious evenings, pairing dinner with a concert, a late show or a favourite cocktail bar.

If a match works, ask for her again next time. Repeat dinners are straightforward to arrange, always subject to her availability. When you are ready, the booking page lists what your first message should contain.

Before kick off

Q.01How long should a dinner date be?

Three hours is comfortable for an aperitif, a full meal and a nightcap. Rates start from €180 per hour; longer dinners are on request and confirmed on WhatsApp.

Q.02Can she meet me directly at the restaurant?

Yes. Meeting inside at your table, outside at the entrance or first in your hotel lobby all work. Say which suits you, along with the time and the restaurant's address.

Q.03Will you reserve the restaurant for me?

Reservations are always made by you, in your name. We are glad to point you towards neighbourhoods with the right atmosphere for the evening you are planning.

Q.04Can the evening continue after dinner?

Often, yes. Mention it when you book so the full length is settled in advance, or ask during the evening whether her schedule leaves room for more time.

Q.05What should I tell you about the restaurant?

The neighbourhood, the reservation time and the dress code are enough. If it is somewhere formal, or you would like her to arrive before you, mention that as well.
